Originally from Miami, Florida, she attended Temple University, Tyler School of Art in Rome, Italy, and Barry University in Miami earning her B.F.A., Cum Laude degree. Further studies at The School of Visual Arts in Urbino, Italy, The New York Studio School, and The Art Students League resulted in an M.F.A. degree. She lived in Venice, Italy full- time for five years, working and exhibiting her art in Europe. Judi speaks Italian fluently.

 

Currently, Judi lives and works in Chelsea where she has her art studio. She has called Manhattan home for more than 40 years, all the while motivated by an intense fondness for the city, the culture, and its diversity. Harvest says that working as a beekeeper requires patience, fearlessness, gentleness, and respect for nature. Honeybees live in colonies, one honeybee alone cannot accomplish anything, and it takes the entire colony working together to create honey.
