Matt Rand is the CEO of Howard Hanna | Rand Realty, one of the 100 largest real estate brokerages in the U.S., boasting more than 1200 sales associates and 30 offices serving the tri-state area. Rand is also a managing partner of Rand Commercial Services, as well as Hudson United Mortgage, Hudson United Title Services and Hudson United Insurance Services. 

Rand is committed to building better communities and currently serves as chair of the New York State Board of Real Property Tax Services and on the board of directors of the New York State Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council, the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation, Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress, Rockland Business Association and People to People, Rockland's hunger relief agency. He also serves on boards of the American Red Cross of Greater New York and Leadership Rockland, Inc.

Rand received the Humanitarian Award from the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, served as the president of the Rockland County Board of Realtors and received the Rockland Economic Development Corporation's "Forty Under Forty" award.

He earned his bachelor's of arts from Boston College and currently resides in West Nyack, N.Y.
