About Adam
Adam has 16+ years of diverse capital markets experience consulting with Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, and a global derivatives exchange. He has also served 10+ years of board service, as both Treasurer and President for his Hamilton Heights condominium, significantly improving the health of the building during his tenure. While Adam is happy to work in any part of Manhattan, he has built a real estate advisory practice primarily focusing on the Upper West Side and Upper Manhattan.
Elegran Forbes Global Properties management frequently advises agents that have clients considering buying or selling in Harlem, Morningside Heights, Hamilton Heights, or Washington Heights to consult with Adam as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) before progressing too deep into the sales process to discuss the local factors uniquely impacting these neighborhoods – i.e. SRO’s, HDFC Co-op’s, the roll-off effects of 421-A tax abatements, townhouse pricing variables and unwarrantable condos with substantial unsold sponsor units.
Adam is the author of Elegran Forbes Global Properties Townhouse Buyer’s Guide, Elegran’s HDFC Buyer’s Guide and is also the creator of the Harlem Stories Podcast. Harlem Stories is a podcast about the neighborhoods in Upper Manhattan. We discuss the history, architecture, the unique range of property types found in Manhattan and stories of interest relevant to these neighborhoods, including broker tips on buying and selling, and can be found on your favorite podcast app.
